寫了延續巴黎生活之後，台灣好朋友寄了一封信給我，這是一群關於名校畢業生同學會的故事。故事告訴我們，其實人生的目的無非就是為了追求好的生活，而好的生活其實不難尋得。人們汲汲追求包裝生活的職業與權力等附加條件其實是多餘的。

A Cup of Coffee

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old University of Notre Dame lecturer. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups -porcelain, plastic, glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and exquisite, telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the lecturer said:
“If you noticed, all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones.

While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and are eyeing each other’s cups.”

“Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn’t change.”

“Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it.”

日前才看了Der Untergang。今天在飛機上翻閱文匯報才知道老美也要拍個關於南京大屠殺的電影，中文片名暫訂是《南京•聖誕 •1937》，導演沒出現在報導上，估計不會是個大款，要不然老美怎麼會放棄這個大出風頭的機會呢？克林伊斯伍特 和 梅麗史翠普 分飾男女主角。老牌卡司我沒話可說，兩個都好演技。

我回家後搜了一下網路的報導，其實這新聞在去年11月就已經公佈了。片子早已進入籌備階段，今年5月開拍。網路讀者的回帖很踴躍，幾乎都是正面。但不論如何，怎麼我都無法不去想這部片子的商業利益，其實是建立在中國人近來認為的日本軍國主義復甦的敵對下的結果。聰明的老美啊。。老美看的遠把市場的未來潛利都看透了。無論是正方反方這片的爭議都飽足，這樣就夠了不是麼。

倒是某個讀著的意見我雙腳贊成：「裏面千萬不要再插入令人死去活來的愛情故事了！！！！！」 呵呵

我在“星空下的塵埃音樂沙龍”找到了完整版的You Crazy Moon Chet Baker 版本。然後在Ronnie Scott’s這張醉的可以專輯中又發現了充滿熱度拉丁的 04. Round About Midnight 。 Round About Midnight 是被翻唱翻奏不行的曲目，各種風味都有，但這樣的拉丁混音還是第一遭聽到，各位在連結還有效之前趕快下載吧，遲了就沒啦。
